HIKING IN THE TYROL

The hiking region of Galtür in Tyrol attracts visitors with its impressive natural beauty and dense network of very varied hiking paths which cover more than 1,000 kilometres across the whole Paznaun region and more than 250 kilometres in Galtür. The possibilities range from family hiking paths to more challenging hiking and climbing paths. The region’s high altitude also enables stunning glacier hikes. Highly recommended: the circular hike around the reservoir lake (Stausee)!

BIKING IN PAZNAUN

The magnificent Paznaun mountains are a real haven for a wide range of biking activities. Whether mountain biking, e-biking or simply a leisurely bike ride – everyone, whether you prefer a relaxed and leisurely or a faster pace, will find a route to suit them here.

Many tours take mountain bikers through the breathtaking landscape around Galtür at the foot of the Silvretta Alps in Tyrol with classic as well as Enduro routes. Explore the area by bike going up and downhill and stop off to enjoy delicious regional specialities in one of the many mountain huts or chalets along the way.

CLIMBING AND BOULDERING

The mountains around Galtür are like a real adventure playground just waiting to be discovered! Whilst climbing used to be the only way to explore the area going “upwards”, today the rocks offer many further sporting options for active fun. There are, for example, three protected climbing routes in Galtür and, in Jamtal, more advanced climbers can choose between various top rope as well as great multi-rope ways. In the boulder area of the Silvapark, climbers can try out more than 160 different boulders including also one of the most difficult in the world. At the rear side of the Alpinarium, opposite the Hotel Luggi, climbing enthusiasts can enjoy their own climbing wall with a boulder hall inside.
